Each of us has our own set of patterns that settle into our body. Some of these patterns we seek to enhance, other influences may have adverse effects on our overall well-being. Within your Yoga Therapy experience you can release and repattern to mindfully nurture your growth.

Yoga Therapy vs Yoga Class?

In a yoga therapy session you receive information specifically chosen to meet you where you are at. In individual appointments your specifications are the whole focus and adjustments are made on a moment-to-moment basis. In group sessions your information will be weaved together with the other participants. Small group size allows for adjustments and connections. 

In a yoga class a prepared lesson is presented to a group and adjustments are offered.

Both options are supportive, knowing this information can help you choose the best option for you in your current phase.

Intake Appointment

In the intake session we will discuss your current physical comfort, mental strength, emotional awareness, and energetic capacity. This information will be used to determine which offering will be most supportive of your goals.

*Intake appointment must be completed before joining Group Yoga Therapy sessions.

Individual Yoga Therapy

Individual Yoga Therapy will include a focus OR combination of reflection, meditation, asana, pranayama and philosophy. Post session you will receive an email with an overview of the practice as well as some suggestions before our next meeting.

At this time all bookings are made by connecting through email. Once we agree on meeting time and length, your appointment will be inputed into Jane (booking / invoice system). This is to ensure appointment availability for current clients and ease with welcoming those new to Nicole Weaves.

Group Yoga Therapy

Information from your intake appointment is weaved into a session along with the goals of the other participants. Groups are full once 7 participants are registered.

New theme each month, commitment is for the month session. 

*Next session begins Wednesday October 2nd

To prepare for the session please:

• Have access to a quiet space

• Strong internet connection

• Have a journal / pen

• Have an assortment of pillows, blankets ready

• Water or tea for your comfort

15 min Welcome & reflection

15 min Invite presence & breath

15 min Gentle asana

15 Meditation & close

1 Session, 60 mins - $26.00 + GST
Wednesdays 10:00-11:00am MST

Link opens at 9:45am MST to allow for transition, hellos, and daily updates.

When registering, commitment is made for the months session. Depending on the calendar 3 or 4 , 60 min sessions are offered per month.

Yoga Instructor Mentorship

Discussion and practice may include, meditation, asana, pranayama, anatomy, philosophy, developing trauma awareness, lesson plans, welcoming creativity into instructing and instructing to your students (youth through to senior participants).

60 min - $70.00 + GST

These sessions can be tailored to support your personal practice or to support your goals as an instructor.

It is important to acknowledge where yoga comes from and how it has evolved. Yoga grew out of Northern India thousands of years ago from sacred texts The Vedas. The Vedas were the foundations of the roots of yoga. Many variations of practice have been established since its creation and continue to develop worldwide. Yoga made its way from India to the western world through those who hoped to share and teach the knowledge passed down through generations. 

I was taught to study yoga through a lens of equality, understanding and compassion. I extend this care to myself and others. By creating space to listen and appreciate the culture that yoga grew out of, I hope to be able to grow my understanding of the lineage of this practice.
